Scott Gottlieb rezygnuje ze stanowiska komisarza Agencji Żywności i Leków (FDA)

Powody rezygnacji Scotta Gottlieba nie są znane, a samo odejście dotychczasowego komisarza FDA komentowane jako zaskakujące. Nie wiadomo również kto go zastąpi.

„Jestem niezwykle wdzięczny za szansę, którą było kierowanie Agencją Żywności i Leków. Dziękuje za wsparcie swoim koleżankom i kolegom, bez jakiego nie byłoby możliwe realizowanie ambitnych celów, oraz pomoc ze strony Alexa Azara i prezydenta Donalda Trumpa. To była wspaniała podróż i odejście jest dla mnie niezwykle trudne” – napisał na Twitterze Scott Gottlieb.

Swoje podziękowania dla dotychczasowego komisarza zamieścili również Donald Trump i Alex Azar, sekretarz zdrowia i opieki społecznej USA w administracji obecnego prezydenta.
